Jeremy Morris has worked with Welsh businesses from start-ups to large plcs for almost 15 years either in a direct business advisory role or in a training role on MBA, professional management and marketing programmes or professional accountancy training courses.

 

He established JFM Growing Business Solutions Limited, which was the lead into Morris White following Geraldine joining him in 2004. He was Corporate Services Partner in a mid-sized South Wales practice prior to this, having trained and progressed through to management at what is now PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cardiff. He worked with clients requiring accounting, tax & business advice, to external board advisory roles, finance raising and strategic & business planning. He was also Group Financial Controller and then FD at University of Wales Newport

Jeremy has helped a number of clients with raising appropriate finance and in obtaining grant support to assist them in growing their businesses. These projects involve assisting the client to prepare a business plan with supporting financial projections, sensitivity analyses and market & product analysis with the aim of raising a mix of debt, other asset-backed finance, venture capital and grant funding.

Geraldine White has worked with a variety of businesses in Wales in her 14-year career with Price Waterhouse, and subsequently PricewaterhouseCoopers, in Cardiff. She has considerable experience of Accounting, Audit and Business Advisory services and has a lead role for this work in Morris White.

She has undertaken a number of special project assignments including

  • Due diligence exercises, for potential purchasers and vendors,
  • Reviews of working capital forecasts for listed companies, and for private companies in connection with Companies Act sections 155 and 171 statutory declarations,
  • Secondments to clients to assist with their financial and business management processes

Fiona Morris

Fiona Morris has worked with a number of businesses across the UK assisting them with Corporate Finance projects in her 17 year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Price Waterhouse) both in Cardiff and London.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in the audit practice her recent experience has been of business planning, strategic and financial modelling, finance raising and all aspects of transactional corporate finance services. She has also undertaken due diligence exercises and reviews of working capital for listed companies.

She has also written and provided technical training and support to senior corporate finance staff within PwC including drafting responses to HM Treasury discussion papers and The Financial Services Authority consultation papers on Corporate Finance legislation and regulations.
